Detailed Itinerary

Day 01:- Arrival at Srinagar - Night Stay

Upon your arrival in Srinagar, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in, take some time to rest and freshen up. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride on the serene waters of Dal Lake, soaking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Later, visit the enchanting Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, where you can unwind amidst beautifully manicured landscapes and historic charm. Conclude your day with a peaceful overnight stay in Srinagar. 

Day 2: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

Start your day with a visit to the Shankaracharya Temple, perched atop a hill, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Srinagar city and Dal Lake. In the afternoon, explore the revered Hazratbal Shrine, an important Muslim pilgrimage site, and take a leisurely stroll along the shores of the iconic Dal Lake. You can also visit the vibrant floating market, where local vendors sell fresh produce and traditional Kashmiri goods from their boats. As evening sets in, head to Lal Chowk, a bustling marketplace known for its exquisite Kashmiri handicrafts, Pashmina shawls, and a variety of dry fruits. After a fulfilling day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 3: Srinagar to Sonmarg – Baltal – Panchtarni – Baltal – Sonmarg (Amarnath Yatra)

Early in the morning, depart from Srinagar and embark on a scenic journey to Sonmarg, covering a distance of approximately 80 km in 2.5 to 3 hours. Upon arrival, check in and make the necessary preparations for your Amarnath Yatra. Complete the essential KYC (Know Your Customer) process, ensuring you have all the required documents for the pilgrimage. Once the formalities are done, proceed towards Baltal, located about 5-6 km away, to begin your trek towards Panchtarni, covering a distance of approximately 6-7 km. Upon reaching Panchtarni, continue your journey to the sacred Amarnath Cave for darshan, experiencing the divine presence of the revered ice Shivling. After seeking blessings, retrace your steps back to Baltal and return to Sonmarg for a well-deserved rest.The trek from Baltal to Panchtarni and back covers a distance of approximately 12-14 km, offering a spiritually enriching yet physically demanding journey. After completing the Amarnath Cave darshan and returning to Baltal, head back to Sonmarg, where you can relax and unwind after the day's pilgrimage. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in Sonmarg, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Himalayas.

Day 4: Sonmarg to Gulmarg

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Sonmarg and embark on a scenic drive to Gulmarg, covering approximately 140 km in 4-5 hours. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax amidst the breathtaking surroundings. In the evening, you can visit the famous Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world, offering panoramic views of the majestic valley. Stroll through the lush green meadows of Gulmarg, where the serene landscapes provide a perfect retreat. Conclude your day with a comfortable overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 5: Gulmarg Local Sightseeing

Begin your day with a visit to St. Mary's Church, a charming architectural gem set amidst picturesque surroundings, offering a peaceful retreat. In the afternoon, experience the thrill of the Gulmarg Gondola ride to Apharwat Peak, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and partake in seasonal snow activities. For adventure enthusiasts, optional activities like skiing, snowboarding, or a short trek are also available, depending on the season. As the evening approaches, take a leisurely walk through the serene meadows of Gulmarg or explore the local market, where you can find authentic Kashmiri handicrafts and souvenirs. Day 6: Gulmarg to Pahalgam

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Gulmarg and embark on a scenic drive to Pahalgam, covering approximately 180 km in 5-6 hours. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax amidst the tranquil surroundings. In the evening, visit the breathtaking Betaab Valley, known for its lush green meadows, snow-capped mountains, and serene ambiance. Alternatively, you can enjoy a peaceful stroll along the banks of the Lidder River, soaking in the beauty of Pahalgam’s pristine landscapes. Conclude your day with a comfortable overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 7: Pahalgam Local Sightseeing

Early in the morning, depart for Pahalgam, known as the "Valley of Shepherds," situated at the confluence of the Lidder River and Sheeshnag Lake. En route, visit the historic Awantipura ruins, an ancient temple complex dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built over 1100 years ago by King Awantivarman. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, take in the breathtaking natural beauty of the valley. You can also take a short trek to Baisaran, a picturesque village nestled amidst dense pine and fir forests, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Spend the evening at leisure, embracing the serenity of Pahalgam before retiring for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 8: Pahalgam to Srinagar (Drop)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Pahalgam and begin your journey back to Srinagar, covering approximately 90 km in 2.5 hours. En route, you have the option to visit the historic Martand Sun Temple near Anantnag, an ancient architectural marvel offering glimpses into Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage. Upon arrival in Srinagar, proceed to the airport for your onward journey, carrying with you beautiful memories of the enchanting landscapes and serene experiences of Kashmir.

OTHER INFORMATION 

As discussed with you, the details related to your query are as below;

Sonamarg: After Sonamarg, there is a Point called Zero point away from Sonamarg, Thajiwas Glacier and activities like Fish Point (Under Water Balloon Ride). There is only a Union Cab, Charges for Union Cab: 3500/-to 5000/- (Negotiable)

Gulmarg: Gondola Ride is there (Rope Way). In Gondola, you will find Snow and other activities related to snow. Tickets Are fixed as per Govt. fare i.e. Rs. 780 for 1st phase & 920 for 2nd phase.   

Pahalgam: Chandanwari, Aru Valley & Betaab Valley is there, where only Union Taxi is allowed and the fare as per the vehicle rates starts from 1250 to 2100 (Depends on Points). BAISERAN is the best place to visit in Pahalgam though it is not a snow covered area but the place have its own natural beauty. Either you go by walk or by Horse Riding, and other activities is there. 

Additional Information: 

1. In Katra for Pithu / Palki / Pony services Municipal Committee Katra has fixed the rates and they are displayed on the rate card outside their booking office at Banganga. If someone is over charging above the listed rates its upto you how hard you can bargain. 
2. In Srinagar if you are staying at the Houseboat: - Shikara Ride are complimentary, do not pay for the same. 
3. It is not mandatory for guest to take ponies in Gulmarg & Pahalgam to visit all the important tourist spots, all the major tourist attraction point are in close proximity so you can walk it down. However if still you wish to take poly ride / sledging / rafting etc the rates the highly negotiable. Please bargain to your max. 
4. For Kashmiri Wazwan Food: - Aadhoos at Lal Chowk Srinagar is the best place and Mutton Kebab at Gee Enn Bakers - Residency Road. 
5. For Vegetarian Food in Srinagar: - Krishna Dhaba is the best place. 
6. If need to modify the quote/itinerary or if price is not fitting in your budget, then let agent know directly. 

In case of road closure due to snow and slippery roads, our vehicle will not be allowed to ply as a precautionary measure. This is as per govt./administration orders. Only snow jeeps/chained vehicles are allowed to ply. These vehicles can be hired on a direct payment basis or the same can be arranged by us at an additional cost.
