Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 :  Welcome to God's own Country | Cochin To Munnar.

Welcome to God’s Own Country – Kerala! Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, embark on a scenic drive through winding roads surrounded by lush greenery as you make your way to the charming hill station of Munnar. Known for its endless stretches of tea plantations, flowing rivulets, colonial-era bungalows, and gushing waterfalls, Munnar offers a perfect escape with its cool and refreshing climate. On the way, enjoy a visit to aromatic spice plantations and take in the natural beauty of Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls. Upon reaching Munnar, check in to your hotel, relax for a while, and unwind. End your day with a peaceful overnight stay, surrounded by the serene beauty of the hills. 

Day 2 :  Sightseeing In Munnar | Spotting Nilgiri Tahr

After a delectable morning breakfast, set out from the hotel by 9:00 AM for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Begin your journey with visits to the scenic Photo Point, the serene Mattupetty Dam and Lake, the captivating Echo Point, tranquil Kundala Lake, and the lush Sevenmallay Tea Estate or the informative Tata Tea Museum. In the afternoon, head to the breathtaking Eravikulam National Park, Kerala’s largest national park, renowned for its rich biodiversity and home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. It also offers a soft trekking experience through its rolling green hills, making it a must-visit attraction in Munnar. After a fulfilling day of exploring nature’s wonders, drive back to the hotel and unwind. A comfortable overnight stay marks the end of yet another pleasant and memorable day in Munnar. 

Day 3 :Munnar to Alleppey | Exploring Backwaters capital.

After a hearty breakfast, proceed to the picturesque village of Alleppey, beautifully nestled on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Famous for its secluded backwaters, swaying palm trees, and iconic floating houseboats, Alleppey offers a tranquil escape into Kerala’s natural charm. Upon arrival, check into your houseboat by 12 PM and settle in for a truly unique experience. Savor a delicious traditional lunch on board as you cruise through serene lakes, palm-fringed canals, vibrant paddy fields, and peaceful villages along the waterways. Let the day unfold in absolute relaxation and scenic beauty, with a comfortable overnight stay on the houseboat, marking the perfect close to the fourth day of your holiday. 

Day 4 :Alleppey to Cochin | Departure day

Begin your day with a beautiful sunrise over the tranquil backwaters, followed by a wholesome breakfast on the houseboat. After check-out, you'll be transferred to Kochi Airport, Railway Station, or Bus Stand for your return journey. If time allows, explore the scenic Alleppey Beach, visit the historic Lighthouse, and unwind at the peaceful Marari Beach, known for its calm and less commercialized vibe—perfect for some final moments of relaxation. With that, it’s time to wind up your Kerala expedition, heading home with a heart full of memories and a soul refreshed by nature’s beauty.

Things to know/Terms and Conditions

1. VM HOLIDAYS may alter the itinerary due to factors beyond control, such as natural disasters, weather conditions, or road closures.
2. Please provide your flight details to the operator before your travel date.
3. Heavy rainfall is common from June to September, leading to potential itinerary changes. If roads are blocked due to landslides or other calamities, alternative sightseeing will be arranged. Customers must bear the cost of alternative accommodations as per the hotels' cancellation policies.
4. All 3 Meals are included on the houseboat.
5. If any sightseeing cannot be completed due to time constraints, traffic jam, natural calamity, travelers starting late, permits issued late or any other reason beyond control, VM HOLIDAYS is not liable for refunds or discounts.
6. Airfare, train fare, and bus fare are not part of the package.
7. Maintain eco-friendliness during the tour and avoid littering.
8. Valid identification is required during booking and upon arrival, except PAN card is not considered valid address proof.
9. Personal expenses are not covered in the package.
10. Rescheduling Policy: a) Private (Standard & Deluxe Package) & Group Bookings:
11. Rescheduling within 7 days after booking until 15 days before travel incurs a 30.0% rescheduling fee.
12. Rescheduling 0 to 15 days before travel incurs a 100.0% cancellation fee.
13. No rescheduling or modifications allowed for bookings made within 15 days of travel.
14. Private (Super Deluxe) & Hotel Specific Bookings: No modifications or rescheduling allowed. Standard cancellation policy applies.
15. In cases of force majeure events, VM HOLIDAYS reserves the right to reschedule tours or offer alternative itineraries for the safety of clients and staff.
16. Cancellation after rescheduling: Clients who cancel after rescheduling will be subject to the standard cancellation policy, with rescheduling fees being non-refundable.

• Accidents involving lodging or transit, as well as fire damage.
